We love our shopping!  Orange County offers some of the biggest and best shopping malls in the country.  Here’s a rundown on some that you need to go shopping at while you’re in the OC!

South Coast Plaza

We’ll start with South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.  Not only is it the largest mall in Orange County, it’s the biggest mall on the whole west coast!  It has the highest dollar amount of sales of any mall in the United States… pretty lucrative!  The anchor stores in this mall are Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Sears.  The mall has more than 250 retail shops that are recognized worldwide. When it’s time for a break, you’ll find over 30 restaurants, and a center for the performing arts.  They are celebrating their 50th anniversary, and it looks like many more to come!  Shopping at South Coast is a real experience!

Brea Mall

Brea Mall is an upscale mall that has beautiful skylights, fountains, and works of art dotted through your shopping experience.  Even the floor is Italian tile.  You can feel luxurious and pampered through the Glen Ivy Day Spa, a full-service spa to help you relax in the course of a day’s shopping.  Brea Mall is home to anchor stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom, Sears, and JC Penney. Count on more than 175 specialty shops to round out the day.  You will find many restaurants when you’re ready for a bit to eat.  Everything you need is right there at Brea Mall.

Westfield MainPlace

The high ceilings and beautiful fountains that are in and around Westfield MainPlace will help you feel pampered during your shopping excursion.  Take a shuttle from the mall to Disneyland.  Enjoy all the fine stores at MainPlace, and when you’re ready for a break, you’ll find that they have some really nice restaurants in their food court!

Buena Park Downtown

Buena Park Downtown is very close to Knott’s Berry Farm.  You’ll find a retail mall that covers over 925,000 square feet.  It actually has two separate areas.  In the first area, called Buena Park Mall, the kids will have a blast at Big Air Trampoline.  Other stores in this area include Sears, Ross, DSW Shoes, Bed, Bath and Beyond, and Walmart.  The second component of Buena Park Downtown is called Krikorian Courtyard.  Here you’ll find an 18-screen cinema, and lots of good eats.  Enjoy exploring the little shops that make up Krikorian Courtyard.

Anaheim Plaza

If you want to “shop where the locals shop,” then Anaheim Plaza is the place you want to be.  With over 20 brand name stores, and several casual dining places, you can get everything you need, and make a day of it.  It’s an open-air shopping center, and one you’ll want to experience when you’re in Anaheim.
