In less than a decade, Attorney Phillips has built a reputation in the legal community and is known as a tenacious defense attorney and sophisticated litigator who will go the extra mile for his clients.
In this time, he has also built a vast portfolio, which includes becoming the managing attorney for two of Southern California’s most respected DUI defense law firms.
Attorney Michael S. Phillips’ Experience
Mr. Phillips’ commendable education has led him to become the accomplished attorney that he is today. He graduated with honors from The University of Tennessee in 2004, with a degree in biology and chemistry. He then attended the Whittier Law School, where he graduated in 2008 with a concentration in criminal law.
He began his law career as a Certified Law Clerk in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. During this time, he learned how to ethically and strategically prosecute criminal cases in the State of California.
Mr. Phillips then became a private practice attorney, with his first case involving a multi-million dollar fraud scheme. As a solo practitioner, he has successfully argued thousands of court trials and has mastered the complexities of the California Vehicle Code.
In 2013, Attorney Phillips joined forces with our firm’s founder, Attorney Todd Landgren of The Law Offices of Todd Landgren. The pair implemented a managed caseload system that guarantees each case is given the personal attention it deserves and the best possible chance of a successful outcome. Although Todd Landgren has retired, the attorneys of our law firm have upheld these values and pride themselves in carefully tailoring their representation to each individual case.
Today, Attorney Michael Phillips is still devoted to providing excellent legal representation in all drunk and impaired driving cases, and he has mastered the art and science of a successful DUI defense. He continually works to improve and refine his practice and defense strategies, staying on top of any and all changes that involve prosecution, legislation, and decisional law.
When you need a DUI attorney that will aggressively fight for your rights., Attorney Phillips is the right choice.
I had a felony DUI with GBI enhancement...I am a vet and thought my life was over. He took over from the beginning and told me what I had to do in order to become a better man and prove to the courts I wasn't a bad person. I was set to do 2-3 years in state prison and got.
